Hitachi 32-inch gets top marks

08 Jan 2008 07:56

Shoppers looking for great home cinema could consider Hitachi A new review has suggested that the latest addition to the 32-inch LCD TV range from Hitachi could be one of the best on the market.

In an article for wordsthatwork.name, Stephen Morgan states that Hitachi's 32LD9700 offers solid resolution and good connectivity, including RGB scart and HDMI compatibility as well as being ready for high-definition playback.

Mr Morgan scores the panel ten out of ten for picture and sound quality and ranks it highly in a range of areas including compatibility and good value.

"As far as overall features are concerned we would give it ten and for ease of use and overall value-for-money we would give it, ten and ten respectively.

In March last year Trusted reviews said that the 32LD9700's high performance and "criminally low" average price tag of £642.01 was enough to make the panel worthy of consideration.

It was noted by the site that the "average" sound quality of the unit might put off some home cinema fans but added that the high quality screen resolution was enough to balance the problem.
